LeBron James needs help. As great as he is, as exhilarating the run to The Finals was in 2007, the Cavs showed they have serious limitations on offense against the Boston Celtics in the 2008 Playoffs. Considering that the Cavs have their highest pick in years (No. 19), they have a chance, but not a great one, to add someone who can give them scoring help. Could they package it with Wally Szczerbiak's expiring contract for instant help? The Cavs need to make something happen this offseason. Cleveland has LeBron under contract through 2010, but he can opt out after that season. What can the Cavs do to give themselves a serious chance at another Finals run? It starts this offseason.
"Unlike many teams that will announce whom they are working out and when — often followed by a news conference where the player might be critiqued — Ferry lets nothing out when it comes to his draft plans. The Cavs keep their workouts and any comments on the players secret."
