There are a lot of teams around this league that are envious of the position that the 41-41 Blazers are in. With a young and talented core of Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden, the future is very bright. They may want to use some of their ancillary assets this summer to shore up their point guard or small forward spots, or they could roll with the group they have and look to grow from within.
"Now, as the Trail Blazers embark on a pivotal offseason after the first non-losing season (41-41) in four years, general manager Kevin Pritchard is faced with a different obstacle: Now that the potential has surfaced, now that this once-downtrodden franchise has turned the corner, he must accelerate his team's growth without halting its momentum.
"Does he stand pat and allow his young and talented nucleus to grow and mature together as is? Does he merely tinker and add another complementary player? Or does he make another bold splash and add yet another difference-maker that could push the Blazers over the top?"
