Each month during the 2008-2009 season the FastBreak Foundation will focus on a specific area of giving. The month will feature events, programs, and a $10,000 grant to an organization that best fits the theme and fulfills the mission of the Foundation. Below is a list of the monthly themes

The winner of each month will receive:
  • The $10,000 grant
  • A booth to market your organization at one of the games
  • A Public Address announcement during the game and tickets for a game

    The runner-up for the month will receive:
  • A booth at one of our games
  • A Public Address announcement during the game and tickets for that game.

    Every organization that applies for a grant will receive tickets to one of our games during the specific month.

    October: New Season, New Beginnings
    Organizations that offer youth a new direction or opportunity

    November: Operation Minnesota Heroes
    Organizations supporting Minnesota Military troops and their families

    December: Season of Giving
    Organizations that serve families in need during the holiday season

    January: WolvesCare
    Organizations that focus efforts on supporting children fighting life-threatening illness

    February: Black History
    Organizations that focus on supporting African American education, health or Heritage

    March: Read to Achieve
    Organizations that focus on literacy and encourage a life long love for reading

    April: Fan Appreciation
